Although some people may wonder why the necessity of such a section, the
management of the cemeteries feel that there is a need in the community for a
pet cemetery where a beloved pet can be buried with dignity. People bury people
because they have to...pets because they want to.

Why bury with dignity? For the same reason one does it for any other member of
the family. Because the family pet is indeed a member of the family. Pets
demand little and give much...in love, loyalty, and devotion. Honorable pet
burial is by no means new or unusual. Actually, the custom dates back to
prehistoric man, as demonstrated by decorations on the walls of early cave
dwellings.

The pet section is planned as any section of the cemetery with vital records
kept on all the pets. There are individual pet spaces, as well as pet estates
for those who have several pets and want to individualize their lot. The
cemetery also carries a selection of pet caskets/vaults. If you have been
acquainted with the joy of owning an animal whose companionship made your life
a happier one, know the satisfaction of marking his last resting place with a
granite or bronze memorial.
The cemetery accepts all types of pets; however, there may be some circumstances
that would not permit the burial of a pet. Such an example would be largeness
of size. The cemetery has a "Memorial Tribute Program", so that a tribute to
the pet can be made by the family.
