My most sincere sympathy goes to all of the family. I remember Jim from the racing days when my husband Leland Burns and Ted C, all or us run around at the race tracks. Also getting to watch my brother Chuck Puckett drive for him in all of our younger days. thanks for the pleasant memories of racing, Christmas parties at the garage and serving all coffee over at Puckett's café. Appreciate your condolences Dana. I had tried to call Junior Bragg to let you all know Dad passed Sunday evening but was unable to get hold of him with phone no. I had. I know you will let other family know there. Dad always enjoyed coming to reunions and loved living close to the family there when he married Christine after our mother passed in 1989. Bob and I always looked forward to coming to reunions with Dad to see the family. Thank you again Dana for writing because I wanted you all to know and am so grateful to the family there who cared/loved Dad and Mom all of us here in Illinois. Love always Glenda

To all Godâ??s children and to those who loved my parents and my brother Philip, I encourage you to stay strong in the Lord â? by reading the bible, going to church, praying, and praising Him. Jesus from the wondrous victorious cross said, â??Itâ??s finishedâ?. I have conquered sin, death and the power of satan. Whom or what shall you be afraid. As Christian solders of the cross, by the Word (Jesus the Redeemer) and power of the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) we love God our Father with our all heart, soul, and mind. Therefore in keeping with the lawâ??s demands we truly love our neighbors as ourselves. We truly desire to be at peace with all humanity whenever possible. And when we fail, we earnestly seek the Lordâ??s mercy and forgiveness. Refreshed we try try again. A blessed earthly temporal life indeed until the Lord calls home where we belong.
