Cerro Gordo-Louis Dwayne 'Lou' Walker, 55, of Cerro Gordo went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, December 9, 2012 in his home. Services to celebrate Lou's life will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 in Heartla Read Obituary
We knew Lou and his family for a long time through church. He truly loved the Lord and was a dear friend of our son, who has also passed on. We are deeply saddened by your loss Nina and all, it will be hard but God is able to keep and yours with strength and comfort. Lit a candle in memory of Louis Dwayne Walker
I grew up across the street from "little Louie", as we called him when we were young, and walked to school with him from our neighborhood for many years. I think I walked to kindergarten with him. I have many fond memories of us playing on our street, and in our creek, and Louie was an integral part of that. I am so sorry to know ofhis passing, and hope that the remainder of the season will be a time of peace and quietude for family and friends to reflect and remember him.Annilee Rohrscheib

Louie was a mighty man of God, He shared his love of God to many and a was a great example of Christ. I remember doing many performances at Marantha, choir trips to Poland and singing in the choir with him. He loved his family and he was very proud of them.
