Decatur – Charles S. Cutler, 87, of Decatur, IL, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2018, at his home.
Charles was born March 27, 1931, in Moweaqua, IL, the son of James Alonzo and Mabel Maude (Pinkston) Cutler. A member of Carpenters Local 721, Charles served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Rebecca Carol Walton September 29, 1957, in Bethany.
Surviving is his wife, Becky of Decatur; sons: James “Rodney” Cutler of CA, Michael Alan Cutler of KS, and Jeffrey Sherman Cutler of TX; grandchildren: Joshua Cutler and Jessica Cutler of TX and Wyatt Cutler and Malory Cutler of KS; sister, Maryann Gorgie of CA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1 pm until the memorial service at 2 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.

  1. I could never be working in my yard when Charlie would come with his giant smile and humor and say hello. It meant the world to me. It was pleasure knowing him and Becky. Good people. I am so sorry for your loss, Becky. I will always carry both of you in my heart for the kindness you showed us.
