  1. Danny was my baby brother. He was a lot of fun and kind of sensitive as a little boy. We played tag, hide and seek, cowboy and Indians. We would often play in the barn on the farm we grew up on. I loved the baby kittens. He loved the hay mow and we would jump off the bales of hay and hide from one another. I will miss him dearly. He was much too young to have died. But I know we will see him again when Jesus comes and reunites us.

  2. Dan was a really good guy. I was a classmate of his. And considered him a very nice friend to have.
RIP Dan. Blessings to his wife and family. Gloria Gray (Meyer) class of 73 SDHS.

  3. Dan was an awesome guy and a great friend in high school. So many memories and fun at SDHS. I'm am so saddened of the loss of my friend. Prayers to his family, May he RIP and now God has another Angel in heaven. Class of 73 SDHS..Toni Tabor ( Clough)

  4. I knew Dan from Wagners a few years ago.He was a foreman then.He always treated me with respect. I started working at Caterpillar a few years ago and ran into him. He will be greatly missed.

  5. Dan was a great close friend growing up and especially in high school. So many great memories playing sports and being around Dan. My condolences and prayers to the family. RIP Dan, you were one of a kind and I was honored to call you friend. Marty Puckett Class of 73 SDHS.

  6. Danny,
Was one of my best friends during my High School years.

Very competitive, if he couldn't beat me at running, he would tackle me or trip me during our gym class runs. Eventually I paid him back with my own trips and tackles. We eventually became good friends.
Having such a competitive spirit I am sad to see hear of his passing and I'm sure Heaven got a great athelete. So I hope the Angels know, what they got as he's sure to make Heaven a better place.

    Condolences to the family.

    Stephen Decatur class of 1973
