  1. Frieda babysat for our daughter, Kathy Handley starting when Kathy was four years old on until she was in first grade. No one could have been a better caretaker. Kathy is now 52 and always loved Frieda. We are Catholic and Frieda was a Lutheran but took Kathy to many Lutheran activities while she was taking care of her. We always joked about Kathy being a better Lutheran than Catholic. I can't remember her sons name but she was very proud of him. He took our boys fishing one time. I am sure God will welcome her with open arms.

    God Bless, Marge Handley

  2. Dear Charlene and Wayne and family, I was sorry to not be able to attend your mother's funeral. May God bless you with His comfort and peace, and hold you close to Him, as you adjust to life here without her. She was a sweet lady!
I have lots of fond memories of our family get-togethers, at your parents' home, checking out Wayne's creepy-crawlies, and playing cards at my folks'. Some of my children also got acquainted with Aunt Frieda through Ten-Up. And pictures help me "remember" vacationing with your family at the Ozarks (?), fishing and discovering orange sugary circus peanuts!

  3. Charlene & Wayne, I had so many wonderful memories of Aunt Freida & Uncle Maurice & you all. Loved the family dinners & playing downstairs in your basement. I'm SO sorry we couldn't make it to the services. I miss seeing you all. (I couldn't get off work.). My love to you! Wrapping you all in Lots of Love! :heartpulse::heavy_heart_exclamation_mark_ornament:️:heartpulse:

  4. Charlene, Wayne and families,
Remembering with fondness past years and family gatherings. With deepest sympathy.

  5. Frieda was one of my sewing ladies through DMH. I was a seamstress in the sewing room and one of my volunteer sewing groups was from Pilgrim Lutheran Church. What a sweet lady. I always enjoyed my sewing ladies and think of them often. Sorry for your loss. She never forgot me nor did I forget her. She would always take the time to speak when we saw each other.

  6. After her husband passed, which was my great grandpa, she always made sure to pass on his little tradition of every time we visited them he would give us a dollar. then after he died she still would give us the dollar. She will be dearly missed by many.
