Lisa Denise Williams, 43, of Decatur, IL, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her residence. 

Lisa was born June 8, 1975 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of Roger Oliver and Hattie Jackson.  She married Roy Taylor in Decatur, IL.   

Lisa was a medical assistant within the Decatur, IL community. 

Surviving are her mother, Hattie Jackson of Georgia; father Roger Oliver, Illinois; children, Kershun Pitts of Wenatchee, WA, Marlon Williams, Jr., of Decatur, IL, Malik Williams of Decatur, IL, Tytianna Williams of Decatur, IL, Marquis Williams of Decatur, IL; siblings, Felita Jones of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Oliver, Sr., (Stacie) of Stockbridge, GA, Sylvia Oliver of McDonough, GA, Sabrina Golphin of Decatur, GA, Sonya Tucker, (LV, Jr.) of Bolingbrook, IL, Tarsha McClendon (Jermaine) of Plainfield, IL, Kory Oliver of Atlanta, GA, Casey Fuller (Courtney) of Springfield, IL, Christopher Oliver (Stephanie) Terre Haute, IN, Matthew Jackson of Decatur, IL, Brittany Jackson of Decatur, IL, and Antonio Jackson of Bolingbrook, IL and a host of other family and friends. 

Lisa was preceded in death by one brother, Ellis Oliver and one niece, Ava Taliferro-Jackson. 

Private funeral service will be held at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home.

    Sylvia, I would like to Express my condolences to you and your family. I pray that you find comfort and strength in knowing that you are in the hearts and thoughts of those who love you. Wishing you comfort and peace.

  2. I want to convey my deepest sympathy on the loss of Lisa, daughter, sister, mother , aunt. She was such a sweet person and will be truly missed. Times like this will truly test our faith. When things seem so dark and desolate is when we have to remember that God will not let us suffer any more than we can bear.

    Lisa was a great and loving person. She took care of my father while in the nursing home and we knew he was well taken care of while she took care of him. Lisa was like family and we loved her like family.

    I am so sorry for your lost and she will be missed dearly.

  6. Lisa was the best of taking care of my husband in the Nursing Home. She had a bond with her and visa

    I loved Lisa like my own daughter. She called me “Mom”. She was one of the CNA’S who took care of my husband when he was in the Nursing Home. He loved her. I will miss her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Praying for your family during this difficult time.
