Mildred H. “Millie” Hatch, 98, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 in McKinley Court.

Millie was born December 14, 1919 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Adolph and Freida (Skowronski) Witt. She worked at Permacel and Faries Manufacturing. Millie enjoyed bowling, ceramics, bicycle riding, and loved to travel. She married Donald W. Hatch on June 7, 1938. He preceded her in death October 12, 1988.

Millie leaves behind her sons Donald W. Hatch and Jimmie D. (Sherry) Hatch, daughters Shirley (Bill) Irwin and Lynda Skelley, grandchildren Emily (Hamilton) Bowman, Kelly (Bob) Jackson, Donald Hatch, Vickie Bromley, Kimberly (Todd) Pritts, Todd (Sandy) Skelley, Terri (David) Rathje, and Tom Skelley, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and three sisters.

Services to celebrate Millie’s life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.
