  4. Bob Whitmer

Bob Whitmer was the best in his profession. No one knew more about the land title and title insurance business than Bob. I first met Bob in the mid 1970’s when he was with Gary Anderson at Decatur Title Corporation. Bob knew how to get things done. He was instrumental in the success of Decatur Title Corporation. I grew up in Toledo, so Bob and I had a consistent topic of conversation. No title insurance order was completed without a discussion of Ohio State football. Bob kindly never reminded me of how often the Buckeyes beat up on Illinois. I send my best wishes to Bob’s family.
