William H. “Bill” Paddock

William H. Paddock, 47, of Decatur passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 in Barnes Jewish Hospital surrounded by his family. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
Bill was born April 4, 1969 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Faye “Lori” Paddock Copas and Samuel Copas became his father. He met Lori A. Morey January 14, 2007 and they spent 10 wonderful years together.
Bill loved to bowl, go junking, woodwork and spend time with his companion, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lori; his three children and three step-children, Brittney Paddock (Brandon Crawford)of Decatur; Amber Paddock (John Douglas) of Decatur; Rodney Paddock (Lauren Barton) of Decatur; Jade Morey of Decatur; Jack Morey of Decatur; AJ Morey (Michelle) of Minnesota; father, Samuel Copas of Decatur; 11 grandchildren, Makenna, Brylyn, Kiera, Kylee, Jayden, Reagan, William, Dominik, Kamryn, Harper, Kolton, and one on the way; and one brother Justin Copas and many foster brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral service to celebrate Bill’s life will be 11 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association.

I have lots and lots of memories of bill he was a big kid he loved chasing the kids around and scaring them and me as well he used to say its the Mr bill show in a crazy voice that always made us laugh I remember me and him singing endless love to each other he would sing the man part and me the woman's part usually when we argued cause that's how we apologized to each other I remember cookouts cause bill always was elected to go to the park and save a table I also remember when we were in school we were always called biscuits and gravy by our friends all the little things are so special I will treasure every single memory I have you will be missed but never forgotten you will always dwell in my heart and in my thoughts R.I.P.Bill .
