Harry Irvin Bragg, Jr, 60, passed away at 7:40 P.M. on Wednesday (03-02-2022) at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Harry was born on April 20,1961 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Harry Irvin Bragg, Sr, and Patsy Ann (Compton) Bragg. He married Karen L. Oakley on September 13, 2001 in Decatur, IL. Harry served his country in the United States Army. He worked in Maintenance at Decatur Foundry. He loved watching westerns. He is survived by his wife Karen of Maroa, IL.; one son: Jason Bragg and wife Valena of Mt. Zion, IL.; 2 step-sons: Michael Corrigan of Decatur, IL, and Robert Forker, Jr. of Avenel, New Jersey; one daughter: Jennifer Taylor of Decatur, IL.; one brother: Rick Bragg of Kentucky; four sisters: Junnette Eller of Decatur, IL.; Adrian Baker of Bloomington, IL; Dana Logan of Decatur, IL, and Allison Lowe and husband Glenn of Harristown, IL.; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter – Jamie Kay Abreu Castros, and one sister – Carol Whitlock. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday (03-07-2022) at Summit Avenue Baptist Church Decatur, IL, with visitation from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at the church. Memorials may be made to: Summit Avenue Baptist Church.
