Oh Gosh Dwayne! Joanne is still bigger than life in my memory. What an inspiration and mentor she was to me having been a very young mother. She taught me so much and did it with no judgement, just love and caring. Here's a funny story: My now husband, Mike McCloud, found an old picture of the water ballet (must have been the 4th of July show 'cause we had red, white and blue hats on). He thought it was so cool that he secretly had it blown up and framed and it appeared in our main hall one day. Joanne is first and nearest the camera, then me and then Linda Wright. Needless to say, it's been moved to a not so obvious place but everytime I walk by the picture, I think of Joanne and smile about the wonderful memories.Know that her passing will leave a hugh empty space in all your lives.
