Vicki Lea Gulick, 66, of Decatur, passed away May 12, 2022 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital. Vicki was born in Decatur on July 27, 1955, the daughter of John and Beverly (Higgins) Barber Jr. She worked as an administrative assistant for Decatur Memorial Hospital for over thirty years. She attended Harristown Foursquare Church. Vicki loved spending time with her family, including her dog Hazel. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping, driving her Mustang, drinking coffee and Diet Pepsi, and watching the Golden Girls. She was a die-hard Cubs fan. When Vicki would enter a room, she was like a ray of sunshine, always proclaiming how proud she was or how much she loved you. She loved fiercely and with her whole heart. She loved God and always thanked Him for the blessings in her life. She loved Jesus and followed and lived by His greatest commandment of Loving God and Loving People. Vicki is survived by her parents; children Lenny (LeAnn) Williams, Justin (Amanda) Gulick, and Holly Gulick; siblings Mike (Lisa) Barber, Cathy (Scott) Page, and Traci (Randy) Street; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Dalton, Morgan, Caleb, Abigail, William, and Ellie; several beloved nieces and nephews; lifelong best friend Judy (Doug) Peak; and special friend Bill Callahan. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Vicki. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
