After a year and a half I am just now hearing of your passing. I was very saddened to hear of this and remember the many times that you would yell at me from the hall of the golf course-"Hey Cuz-just want you to know that I am here! "
Even though I truly never met you! My husband spoke highly of you... He said you were a good man and you and his father had good times when working together on the Fire Dept. The stories both he and my father n law Billy V. told were the best! Rest Peacefully Pete and know that you are being thought of! Your family are in our hearts and thoughts as well.
We were so sorry to learn of Pete’s death. Our sympathy is extended to all of his family. I worked with Pete for many years on the 1st Shift and he always had a story (or two) to tell every day! He always came to the retirees group when he was in Decatur and he shared both old and new stories with us there, too! May he rest in God’s perfect peace.
