I will miss Pappy so much! He was always such a bright and fun person to be around. Every time I was with he never failed to put a smile on my face. I'll never forget the Christmas that I got my hover board and he was convinced that he could ride it better than me. He actually rode the hover board. It was hysterical. I also remember every time I went to go visit he would always want to go to CiCi's pizza so he could get the cinnamon rolls he loved so much. I think he could eat more of them than I could. I would like to than Pappy for giving me so many memories that I will have forever. I will miss him.

I'm going to miss Pappy so much and his great sense of humor. I will never forget all the fun memories I made with him and how much I learned from him. One of my favorite memories was watching him show Avery and I his Caterpillar Tractor models when we went to his house. He always had great stories when he worked at Caterpillar and now I have those tractor models to remember him by. Pappy was one of the most fun people to be around and was always to put a smile on my face. I know he always thought I lived a crazy life with sports, but he always wanted to know all about how busy I was. I will miss him very much but will always cherish the memories I was able to make with him.

I have many great memories of Pete. Whether it was the stories he would share about the war and ALL of the reasons why he hated white rice so much or about his time in construction, Pete always made me feel apart of the family. Even though I was just a "grand son-in-law", I did feel a great connection with Pete. Pete always spoke his mind and as others will say 'in colorful ways', but I appreciated the candor and insight. Pete is loved by many and will be missed greatly, so thank you Pete for the guidance and support through out the years…Kevin Miller

I have so many fun memories of visiting Pappy and Grandma as a young child and Pappy was always my playmate. One of my favorite memories was when he took me sledding down the hill on Barclay Court next to their house. I can remember Pappy laughing and riding down with me saying that Grandma wouldn't be very happy with him. He was probably right be we sure had fun! Even as things got harder for him, he always hated to show any weakness around me. As soon as I walked in the room, he would make sure he got up quick and walk over to me to give me a hug, even if it wasn't the easiest thing for him to do. I have definitely always been his little "pudding-tang". I will miss our relationship very much and feel very blessed that I had such a close bond with him.

I can tell you certainly loved him, Jim, even if you were only a son-in-law. Joyce, it is ironic, but the things that drove you crazy are the things you'll miss the most. Sorry for your loss, my friend. I didn't know him, but I wish I had. Hugs!!

Pete certainly could use "colorful" language at times. When Joyce and I visited Pete and Betty, it was obvious Betty had talked to Pete before we arrived. She had given him specific instructions about what he could and could not say. When he crossed the line she would give him that look and I can hear him say, "What did I do now?"After Betty passed away Pete's language got more and more "colorful". Many times Joyce would say, Dad, you can't say that, but the more she tried, the worse it seemed to get. I asked Pete recently why Joyce's talks did no good when it was obvious Betty's made more of an impression. He thought just a few seconds and said. "I am not afraid of Joyce".Pete will be missed by many friends at Wren Place where he spent his last few years. He will also be missed by family and others he crossed paths with through the years. He could make friends with just about anybody. I will miss you very much! Thanks for making me feel so loved even though, as you put it, I was only a Son-in-Law.Love,Jim Morgan
