I have known Chris for several years.. I went to school with her daughter Jennifer.. always so kind she always had a smile on her face.. we would always share baseball stories as you know she is a big cardinal fan. Over the past year or so I was really struggling with anxiety and she would send me uplifting messages everyday that I would listen to start my day.. she really helped me alot through it.. I sure do miss her.. fly high with Jennifer.. my thoughts and prayers go out to your family.. you are missed Chris.. ❤️
I have been blessed to know Chris for 20 years. When I worked at Skeff Distributing, I got the pleasure of working with her at The Bourbon Barrel for many years. Then I became a teacher and she was a wonderful volunteer and helped run our PTO and always present for her granddaughter. We have always stayed in touch over the years. Recently she opened up to me about her diagnosis and we both shared our health issues and things we have faced. We began supporting each other through our journey to get healthy and would often swap recipes and just encourage each other. She messaged me on April 25th for the last time to ask for prayers because she had covid. I know she was a faith filled woman who loved her daughter SO much. She will be extremely missed on Earth but my prayer is that she is healed and holding Jennifer in her arms. Chris will never be forgotten and her spirit, and constant love for others will live on.
Chris was a shinning light and I am sure she still is! I am blessed to have known her. Enjoy Heaven Chris and I know you will be rooting on the Cardinals from above!
My cousin Chris was a special person she will be missed by so many. She had a huge heart and would give you the shirt off her back. I will miss her antidotes like “it’s summer time be sure to shave those toes it is sandal weather.” When I needed someone for advice she was always happy to listen. I hadn’t talked to her for awhile, I wish I had resolved our issues but I know that all is forgiven because that is just the way she was. I miss and love her.
Chris and her family meant the world to them. Here are just a few photos of her family I hope that you enjoy.
So happy that I had the pleasure of doing her home loan for her. She was so proud of purchasing her own home. She will be missed.
What a great Nana and grandma. She wanted her grandkids to have memories and they sure do. So do I. Chris was as marveled at my joy from our vacations and trips as I was. She never really new I felt like a big kid because she let me enjoy them and my children. She helped me teach them to never take a moment for granted and appreciate all. She insisted on appreciation and hugs and thank yous. She set me straight many times. And helped me through so much.. We never let anyone stop our fun. I miss her. I miss her and Jennifer bickering over well, anything. Pajama days, Christmas movies in July, how she loved my pasta salad. So so much. And yes. There were times I finally felt like I was a daughter. What being a daughter felt like. I will always show pics and let these boys know about Nana and aunt Jenni! How could I forget!!!
