I graduated from Lakeview with Connie in 1973. She touched my life even back then. I'm so sorry for your family's loss of Connie. Connie's energy was always uplifting even then. She was a wonderful person. I'm sure her presence will be greatly missed by all. My prayers are with you and your family.
We have been sitting here figuring out what to write and there really are no words to express our sadness and care to you all. I (Kayla) will miss the wonderful hugs and kisses i always received when being greeted be connie She always came entered the room and left the room with a smile. We have all of of you in our prayers daily and although we know that there will be a void in our family that can never be replaced or filled, Connie is with her dad and looking down on each and every one of you every day with that special smile and blowing kisses. we love you all!

I am so sad to read of Connie's passing. I had been out of touch with her and didn't know she'd been ill. I'm so sorry not to have been there for her. I'll never forget the phone call asking me to take a black mistreated puppy, her visit to bring him to me, and her story of how she got him. I loved her instantly. She did many favors for me and I hope I was able to repay some of them. She will be in my prayers always.
Connie, I lost touch with you after school, got back in touch and promised to keep in touch with you. I was planning to surprise you with a visit at work but didn't get to it. Kevin, Aunt Jackie, Tommy and Carla,I have no words that really can say what I am feeling. Connie was truly the best of all the Cook Cousins.She was more a sister to me than a cousin. "Little Lucille" fit her to a tee. Connie had the gift of keeping us all connected.Her courage,bravery and sense of humor in battling her illness was an inspiration to me as well as everyone she touched.My heart is aching, can't even begin to imagine how all of you are feeling.Something tell me Connie and Uncle Tom are picking beans and tomotoes,perhaps feeding a deer or two, just waiting for the rest of us to arrive so we can have a big bonfire.Kevin, Aunt Jackie, Tommy and Carla, though I can't be there physically, rest assured I will be thinking of everyone that day.I love you all !!MaryEllen

I am so sorry about Connie's death. We were in the same graduating class at Lakeview. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the visitation. I am so sorry for your loss.
