We will miss "our brother, Dan" so very much. We have wonderful memories to help us move on and give us reasons to smile in rememberence. He will be with us each time we "Zoom-Zoom" in the Miata.
Dearest Karen,I was so sorry to hear of your loss.Sorrow, heartache, and pain are not strangers, and a time such as this is difficult. His pain and suffering are over, and someday yours will be too.Dannie will always be with you. Be with your kids, and you will be with him. Look at Oscar, and you will see the Dannie in him. Think of, and smile with your good memories. He has a legacy and it is the all of you.Take care of yourself, be the good mother, and carry on with Dannie in your heart. My sympathy and love,Steve
I was Pastor at First evangelical Lutheran Church in the 1970's and knew Dan as an active member . During the recent years, I would sometimesd meetDan at DMH. He waa always friendly, courteous and busy. It is a pleasure to have known him. May his loved ones find peace and comfort in rich memories.
On of my favorite memories of Dan Stoner was a Christmas party of the Mazda Miata Club. At his party, we had a gag gift exchange and Dan received a rubber chicken in the exchange. I'll always remember the look on his face and the humorous way he handled the rest of the party. I'm not sure that Dan ever realized the rubber chicken was given by my wife Sally
When we are cruising the Miata roads in the future Dan will still be with us. He will be the one with the supercharged wings up above!Karen You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Karen,Our sympathy.Ann and Barbara
Dear Karen and Family, Phil and I wish you God's guidance as you adjust to being without your wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Danny was always so giving to all he met. He sure made Phil and I feel very welcome and loved right away when we joined the ALMC. Danny was definitely welcomed with open arms by our Lord! Our heartfelt sympathy to you, Karen, and your very wonderful family. God bless you, always, Sally and Phil Schaefer
Dan Stoner memories–The Murder Mysteries at your house, and how Dan always said he didn't have anything to do with it all….but we all know he did!! The BIG GRIN that always lifted me, especially when I had had a bad day. Then how could anybody forget the back rubs, OH SO SUPER!! Dan would always call me Carol Ann which was only reserved for my mother in my younger days when things were not going well in her opinion. Dan somehow got by with that name for me. I will never forget him teasing me about getting a Miata, and willing to help me buy one!! Karen, you have my deepest sympathy during this time. Also please remember all those fond memories you had with Dan and especially your trips together in your heart forever.
What a loss for our Miata Club. When we first joined Dan made us feel so welcome. His joyfulness and love for life will be greatly missed.Sincerely,Jay Debbie
