I am very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I spent long hours with Bob and Jim ( the kid). I shared a lot of loses, but thankfully lots of joy with Bob. The really early bands, baseball in the backyard, practice in the basement on Greenridge. Driving back and forth to Carbondale to play back here , I will miss him and cherish the memories. I was Bob's sister in law and had the pleasure of many years of knowing him, my sister and Bob had three lovely children together and I am sure will miss him. I enjoyed going to hear him play when he was with Flatland way back in the late 70"s. He will be missed.Stephanie Olival-Aleshire

Bob was the best drummer I ever worked with, both as a player and as a person. Even though he loved the Cardinals and I the Cubs, his drums and my bass always clicked. It was the best music I ever made. Ever since I learned of his passing, the Righteous Brothers line," If there's a rock and roll heaven, you know they'll have a hell of a band," keeps going through my head. So if there is, then you're up there, Bobby, with J. Bob and Chuck and David R. So hang in there. Eventually the rest of old rockers will be there too, and the Moonkats can finally get together again. Rest in Peace.Bruce
