We will miss you. It won't be the same at our monthly get together meals. With love and sympathy from our family to yours.
Laura, you will be missed for sure! Remembering our High School days, and how you helped with the Pep Club, and working in concession stand. You had a great personality, so sincere, and real. Our prayers to the family, Vicki Lynn (Fox)Costa & family [email protected]
Rest in peace my friend, you will be greatly missed. I am so glad we were able to reconnect with each other on Facebook after so many years. Have great memories of you family and spending time at your house in Hillcrest. My prayers are with your family. Joanna Gentille Mitchell
I remember Laura from school. We graduated together. She was so sweet and caring. My prayers to her family.
My prayers and sympathy to you all! Laura always had a kind word and a beautiful smile for everyone! I'm so glad I was able to see her last July, even if it was just for a little while. She will be missed by everyone!
We are thinking of you and praying for you at this difficult time. May you find peace in God and find comfort in His arms. ~ Jeff and Vicky Yokley & Travis and Brittany (Yokley) Bredar
I grew up on Longwood in Hillcrest and had happy memories . I know this is silly but the girls had knitted nose warmers made I believe by their mom . Envy of the neighborhood the brown play house . I moved away but had slumber party's in the piano room and wonderful times.
Where to begin! She was a crazy fun teacher at DCS. I can remember how obsessed she was of her projector and how she would get excited for new markers for it and when she got the rolling sheet for it. She always kept the class interesting…..even though my class drove her up the wall. From transferring marker to her face from her hand, to throwing markers at our big heads when we were sleeping in class. I always remembered staying after school for her to help me when I needed it because she knew I was capable of more than average. She seemed hard on us, but looking back with a more mature mind…..I know that she believed in us (I always knew that but every student thinks that way). Mrs H was TRULY a big blessing in the Decatur Christian community. My prayers and best wishes to her husband, mother, siblings, daughters (whom she ALWAYS talked about or she would tell us how excited she was when one came home AND I remember when one of the girls got engaged at the airport and she brought pictures back to our class), and grandchildren. Fly high Mrs H!! Love you and miss you!!!! ??
