Aaron John Hill's Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of Aaron John Hill of Oreana, IL. He died at age 49 on March 5, 2024, at home.
He left behind his only son Jaice C. Hill (Kayla Faith) and unborn grandchild. Also, his parents John and Paula (Elsea) Hill of Decatur, IL; friends, dogs Yadi, Freddie, and Channel.
Aaron grew up in rural Oreana on a grain farm. His love was farming, and he drove semi-trailer trucks for over 25 years. He had a great work ethic, and you could count on him to work long hours and get the work done. He had caring ways about him: visiting friends in the hospital, showing up to bale hay, helping friends move furniture, just to name a few...
His hobbies were listening to loud music, playing golf with Doc and friends, and watching St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball. (He was proud of his STL tattoo).
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Jean Hill and Ralph and Alice Elsea, and brother Todd Hill.
RIP now...you are healthy again. Fish with Todd and golf with Doc and hit it long and straight.
