Aaron Holloway's Obituary
DECATUR- Aaron Holloway, 77, of Decatur, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at Arbor Rose of Monticello.
Aaron was born on April 1, 1946, in Brownsville, TN, a son of William and Lillie Mae (Brooks) Holloway, Sr. A U.S. Army veteran, Aaron worked at A.E. Staley for many years. He was a state champion wrestler and was inducted into the Decatur Sports Hall of Fame. Aaron married Pearlie Mae DeBerry on December 22, 1982, and she preceded him in death on June 6, 2011.
Surviving is his stepsons: Marlin DeBerry of Decatur and Mikel DeBerry of GA; brothers: Willie Holloway and William Holloway Jr, and his wife Ora of Decatur; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother James Louis Holloway.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 2pm until the service time of 3pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Graceland Cemetery.
