Aja Jade Henry's Obituary
Decatur-Aja Jade Henry, infant daughter of Ashley Jackson and Jamaal Henry was placed in the loving arms of Jesus at 3:58 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Aja leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents Ashley and Jamaal, brothers Jaamir and Jarale, sister Alia, twin sister Amina, grandparents LaSonya and Darrell Johnson, Pastor Thurston and Maria Wiggins, and James and Mychele Boatman, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Aja was greeted in Heaven by her grandmother Phyllis Henry and great-grandmothers Bobby Jean Henry and Linda Jones.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff with the Carol Jo Vecchie Women and Children’s Center at St. John’s Hospital for all of their loving care and support.
Graveside services will be 12 noon Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the Garden of Angels at Graceland Cemetery with the “Flight Home” Ceremony to conclude the service.
