Alberta Louise Armstrong's Obituary
Alberta Louise Armstrong, 91, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 6:17 P.M. on Monday (02-24-2025) in her home.
Alberta was born on October 19, 1933, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of William Thomas Flesch and Clara E. (Schlemm) Flesch. She married Ardell “Buzz” Darell Coburn in Hernando, MS. He passed away on September 27, 1959. She then married Danny Marvin Armstrong on July 25, 1962, in Decatur, IL. He passed away on May 6, 2003.
Alberta enjoyed being outside and gardening with many different flowers.
She is survived by her children: Karen Armstrong of Decatur, IL; Mark Coburn of Belleville, IL; Brian Coburn of Decatur, IL; Scott Armstrong of Warrensburg, IL; two grandchildren: Nash Armstrong and Pamela Robinson; great-grandchildren: Ariana Shores and Madison Craw; and one sister Betty Elliott of Decatur, IL.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, six brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
