Alice Louise Brady's Obituary
Alice Louise Brady, 84, of Decatur, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Fair Havens Christian Home, surrounded by her family.
Alice was born December 2, 1932, in Bluffs, IL to Albert and Stella Mae (Cantrell) Fogerson. Alice was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved spending all her time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Sandy L (Doug) Miller of Decatur, IL and Linda M (Bob) Brown of Jacksonville, IL, Carl David Brady of Cape Coral, FL, Ed (Cheryl) Brady of Decatur, IL, Steven E. (Laurie) Brady of Moweaqua, IL, Thomas J. (Randy Pease) Brady of Tucson, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Leona Hunter of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jerry Denton Coleman; one brother and four sisters.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Alice Brady will be 12 p.m. noon Monday, April 10, 2017, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon Monday before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers and donations, the family is requesting people to “Pay it Forward” and remember Alice with an act of kindness to a stranger.
