Alice Darlene Grace's Obituary
Decatur – Alice D. Grace, of Decatur, passed away at 9:50 am Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Imboden Creek Living Center.
Services to celebrate Alice’s life will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Dr. Michael Hoy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday March 9, 2010 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
Interment with the “Flight Home” Ceremony will be at Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Lutheran Church, Salvation Army or Homeward Bound. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawmn.com.
Alice was born June 1, 1927 in Macon County, the daughter of Edgar and Dorothy (Keller) Keyl. She married William J. Grace on April 1, 1948 in Decatur. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a Patient Representative at DMH. Alice was a life-long member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and was on the church counsel. She also participated in activities at the Salvation Army, Dove, Senior Center, and Kiwanis Golden K.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Cathy (Robert) Cloney of Decatur, and Connie (Thomas) Wrigley of Decatur, one sister: Joyce Garver-Messenger, three grandchildren: Christen Stimler, Jennifer Smith, and Aaron Wrigley, six great-grandchildren: Baylee, Layton, Hadley, Mia, Madison, and Isabella.
She was reunited in Heaven with her husband: Bill, and her parents.
