Alice Pearline Mudd's Obituary
Alice Mudd, 89, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, in Decatur, IL.
She was born in Decatur on July 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Richard T. Wilcott and Alice Vivian Ramsey Wilcott.
Alice was a woman with a heart of gold. She worked for many years doing administrative work for different humanitarian organizations, especially those that helped children. She loved her family more than anything in the world, cherishing their time together.
She was a Christian raised in the Pentecostal faith, and had attended church at the Gospel Chapel when it was still in operation. She also enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo and collecting angels.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: four children, Richard Weaber, Vickie Botts, Crystal Wood, and Margaret Dudley; daughter-in-law, Shari Weaber; brother, Richard Wilcott; as well as her friend and former husband, Joe Mudd.
Those surviving include: children, Vivian Weaber and Wally Weaber; brothers-in-law, Raymond Mudd and Larry Mudd; many grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Alice will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Macon County Memorial Park. Those attending are asked to arrive at the graveside by 1:50 PM.
