Alice M. Weaver's Obituary
Alice Weaver, 83, of Decatur passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Aspen Ridge Care Center.
A service to celebrate Alice's life will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at South Shores Christian Church. Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice.
Alice was born on March 25, 1929, the daughter of William H. Bigley and Ruth Goodman Bigley. She was a long time member of Northwest Christian Church and took her relationship with God very seriously. Alice was an avid Cubs fan and loved country music. Alice retired from Tolly's Market as a head cashier.
Surviving are her sons, Steve (Carol) Weaver of Decatur; Mark (Becky) Weaver of Decatur; daughters, Kathy (Jack) Scott of Decatur; Barbara (Ed) Hemrich of Decatur; brothers, Sam Bigley, Pete Bigley and Paul Bigley, and a sister, Shirley Cochran, all of Eldred PA; seven grandchildren, Jill, Amy, Leigh, Matt, Mindy, Jason, and Nicole; step-grandchildren, Susan, Joe, Mike and Jim; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by per parents, 3 brothers, Chuck, Bob and Mort, one sister, Pat Drabert and one great grandchild.
The family would like to thank McKinley Court, Aspen Ridge Care Center and DMH Hospice for their care of Alice.
