Alma Andrews' Obituary
Decatur - Alma Andrews, 74, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Alma loved spending time with her family and friends. Alma worked many years as a manager at Fashion Bug and was a wonderful waitress at Steak and Shake until she retired. Alma enjoyed puzzle-books, needlepoint, plastic canvas projects, attending craft shows and having her coffee at the local restaurant. Alma also loved Mickey Mouse and collecting angels. Alma was a very loved woman by so many because of her kind words and beautiful smile.
Alma married David E. Andrews in 1972. Alma is survived by her sons, David K. (Melissa) Andrews; Gregory C. (Kaye) Andrews; daughter, Mary E. (Chad) Smith; sister, Emily Vance-Nuckolls; brothers Jack Vance, John Vance, Jerry Vance; grandchildren, Sara, Whitney, Jon, Tyler, Faith, Rose, Dylan, Colin, Khloe and Lucas and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, David, parents, John and Elsie Vance, sons, James Andrews and Thomas Andrews.
A visitation will be from 9:00am- 11:00am on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, with funeral service to follow at 11am and burial will be held at Wheeler Cemetery after services at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home 2091 N. Oakland Ave. Decatur, IL 62526.
