We all loved Aunt Alma and remember her funny laughter. It's been many years but I do have so many fond memories of cookouts after dad and Harold played golf. Also, the many times at Thanksgivings at Grandma Hutson's house. After which we would get to go to those movies in Decatur. Our thoughts are with you Larry and Bev and all of your family. It's been several years since my Mom (Evelyn Creekmur) talked with Alma but she always talked about her and wondered how she was doing. We lived on 34th Street right behind your parents when they lived on 35th Street & you when we were younger. Mom also played bingo with Alma and they visited with each other for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families. Evelyn Creekmur and her daughter Donna Jordan.
Aunt Alm was a fun, loving, wonderful lady! She and Harold thoroughly enjoyed their lives and their family. Terry (nephew) and I have many great memories of sharing visits, laughter, and good times with Alm, Harold, and Terry's parents when we were all visiting in Warrensburg, Decatur, and eventually Houston. I have so many pictures of Alm through the years…she had a big smile, a great laugh, and often a witty comment or two. I never felt like an in-law…she made me feel a part of the family. I'm happy she lived a long life and that she had very loving children helping her to still enjoy her life when she left Decatur and moved to Florida.
