Decatur-Alma Naomi Wilber, 85, of Decatur passed away 7:10 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Heartland of Decatur.
Services to celebrate Naomi’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment with “Flight Home” Ceremony will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene. Naomi was born June 22, 1923 in Decatur the daughter of Mack D. and Leta B. (Woolever) Johnson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She married Charles R. Wilber August 9, 1940 in Decatur.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, sons; Larry Wilber and wife Connie of Decatur, Lonnie D. Wilber and wife Gloria of Decatur, and David Wilber and wife Karen of Macon, eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was greeted in heaven by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, granddaughter, and great-grandson.
