Anna Entrikin's Obituary
Anna Entrikin, 99, of Mt. Zion passed away on February 7, 2024. She was born on January 21.1925 to Abramo and Assunta Bartolomucci in Mt. Vernon Il.
Anna married Harold Entrikin on August 5, 1946. She started her nursing career as a private nurse and retired from St. Mary’s hospital after 35 years.
Anna was the most loving mother and grandmother. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross. She loved to fish, play slot machines and bingo. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Anna is survived by her sons, Dr. Richard Entrikin, James (Darlene Motz) Entrikin; daughter, Patricia (Kevin) Burns; grandchildren, Katie Johnson, Michael Entrikin, Tiffany Painter, Jennifer (James) Hart, Kyle Burns and Kristen Burns; sister, Alva Ross and 12 great-grandchildren. As well as numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold; 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
A visitation will be held for Anna at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Monday February 12, 2024, from 10-11am with a funeral mass to follow. Burial rites will be performed directly after the mass at Graceland Cemetery.
