Annie "Louise" Kellow Butler's Obituary
Annie “Louise” (Penny) Kellow Butler, 93, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016, in Heartland Manor Care, surrounded by her family.
Louise was born April 23, 1922 in Trenton, Tennessee to Thomas Jefferson and Stella Jane (Dew) Penny. She married Leonard “Jack” Kellow on November 14, 1936, in Trenton, TN. He passed away on December 24, 1998. She later married Charles E. Butler on February 2, 2005, in Decatur.
She was a member of Life Foursquare Church. She was a cosmetologist for many years and also worked for A.W. Cash Valve.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughter, Linda (Kenneth) McCollum of Decatur; six grandchildren, Brenda Muschal, Mark (Darletta) McCollum, Jeff (Janelle) McCollum, Leonard (Angel) Kellow, Dr. Robert (Dawn) Kellow and Michael (Beth) Kellow; 17 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Leonard ”Jack”; her son, Leonard P. Kellow; one great-great- granddaughter, Dakota Renee Hagermann; two brothers and two sisters.
Services to celebrate the life of Louise Kellow Butler will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Life Foursquare Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to Life Foursquare Church.
