Audrey V. Hale's Obituary
Decatur-Audrey V. Hale, 83 of East Peoria, formerly of Decatur, entered the sunset of her life at 7:31 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at her residence with her family by her side.
Services to celebrate Audrey's life will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Audrey was born July 16, 1927 in Mt. Zion, the daughter of Garnet and Maude (Bell) Warner. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married Eddie 'EO' Hale December 25, 1946 in Mt. Zion, Illinois. He preceded her in death May 5, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jim) Roberts of Satsuma, FL; grandsons: Kenneth (Mindy) Morris of Metamora, IL; Robert Morris of Landrum, SC; great-grandsons: Kyle Morris currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Japan; Christopher Morris of Landrum, SC; Daniel (DJ) Morris of Landrum, SC; great-granddaughters: Ashley Morris of Tampa, FL; Heather Morris of Metamora, IL; Harlie Morris of Landrum, SC; niece, Jeannie (Mike) Marshall of Ocala, FL, brothers; Dwane (Diane)Warner of St. Marie, Richard (Hazel) Warner of Mt. Zion, and George Warner, sisters; Mary (David) Belskamper of Macon, Marie McGheeon of Mattoon, Alice Loomis of Taylorville, Priscilla McClure of Springfield, and Margaret Richardson of Lakeland, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers; Glenn, Robert, and Morris Warner.
