Audrey Louise Maurice's Obituary
Audrey Louise Maurice, 92, of Decatur, IL, passed away August 1, 2021 at her residence.
Audrey was born October 8, 1928 in Canton, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Lena “Maude” (Watkins) Pschirrer. She married Robert Leroy Maurice July 24, 1948 in Canton, IL.
Audrey worked as a seamstress for a local garment factory. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, DAR, and the Decatur Genealogical Society. She was an avid volunteer for Rock Springs Nature Center.
She loved quilting and was an avid member of the Decatur Quilt Guild.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Jenny Garver (Trey) of Decatur, IL, Jason Ward (Cassie) of Kansas, Jessica Proctor (Jeremy) of Decatur, IL; great grandchildren, Jacob Garver, Evelyn Garver, Madelyn Ward, Rhett Ward, Danica Ward, Shianne Ward, Colt Ward, Claire Proctor and Owen Proctor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents; daughter, Nancy Epperson and brother, Robert Pschirrer.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Thursday August 5, 2021 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery.
Memorials: Christ United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
