Barbara and I go back a long way. Besides living across the street or next door, we spent our childhood days together in many ways. We spent many summer days at Playland beach where Barb, being a little older, would take me to the snack shop for Cracker Jack, and we all had to have pistachio ice cream before the ride home. At other times of the year, we played stickball against her parents', steps, but had to be home before the sun set over the Palisades.More recently, Barb made her special Teddy Bears for the three daughters of my Godchild, Stacy….each with Barb's special inscription. Stacy and her girls were so sorry to hear about Barb's passing. We have lost a beautiful lady and a loving friend. Joe, Dale, you are in my thoughts and prayers.Love to you both,Janie
Joe,Dale,Nancy & Gus – We are sad to hear of Barbara's death and are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers! Sorry we cannot be there with you. Sharon remembers all the cards Barb would send to Gus as he grew, that always listed all her "special friends" – the cats she cared for at your home. The beautiful stuffed bears she made were wonderful too.
