Barbara Anne Higdon's Obituary
Barbara Anne Higdon passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 93. Barbara was the daughter of W. Harrell Burge and Lenita Pearl Sunderland Burge. She was the little sister of Delmar Lee and was much loved and protected by big brother. She was a student at the U of I for two years.
She was the mother of Kevin Ryan of Hot Springs, AK, Denise (David) McClelland of Decatur, and Debra (David) Billman of Tucson, AR, and James Higdon of Tallahassee, FL. She had 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins and friends.
She married James Higdon in Decatur in 1969. He survives. She will be missed especially by neighbors Lori Pichon and Toni Blakeman.
