Barbara S. Otto's Obituary
Barbara Sue Otto, 78, of Decatur, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Barbara was born April 7, 1940, in Decatur, IL to Harry Gordon and Marie (Knight) Utley. She married Julius G. Otto on January 16, 1960 in Decatur, IL. He passed away March 16, 2016. Barbara was a delivery driver for the Herald & Review for 43 years. She enjoyed spending time with the Firestone Retirees.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine (Jason) Yates of LaPlace; her grandson, Travis Otto; and her sister, Judy (Ray) Ostrander of Oreana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julius; and her son, Jeffrey Otto.
Honoring Barbara Otto’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2091 N. Oakland Ave. Decatur, IL.
