Barbara Karen Woodard, 83, of Decatur, IL passed away December 23, 2020 at her residence. Karen was born December 25, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of H. Kenneth and Dorothy Lucille (Curry) Odell. She married Virgil R. Woodard Read Obituary
Such fond memories and so many of Karen, I could probably write a book. Herb and I want to offer our sincere sympathies to all of her family. Her family was everything to Karen. We visited she and Virgil a few months before Virgil passed and it seemed like all 4 of us knew we were saying goodbye to a long friendship. May God bless all of you at this difficult time. So sad to hear the news, Karen and My grandmother June were great friends for many years. I spent a lot of time with the two of them at Covered Bridge Festival, movies, dinners, trips together. Karen was like a another grandmother to me, she was always so loving and fun to be with. She loved to laugh, and we all did that so often when together. Love and Prayers to her family, such a huge loss, Loved her much!!
