Your Departed and I went to to school together. How I remember him was how he was always a stud when it came to any indoor floor hockey during PE, he was involved with the youth hockey leagues when he came to Warrensburg-Latham. He was competitive in a lot of ways, and he forced those around him to elevate their own game.
Like a lot of us, I didn't follow him or discuss things with him post high-school. I'm sorry to be typing this between turns of a board game to you on a Saturday when I read this...I didn't know he had passed until I received the missive from my parents. He was younger than me, mostly in better shape through high school. I share with you my condolences, this wasn't what I thought I'd spend time typing today.
