Benita Harn's Obituary
Decatur – Benita Harn, 78, of Decatur, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Benita was born March 21, 1942, in Del Rio, TX, the daughter of Jesus and Maria (Camarillo) Crowder. A homemaker, Benita was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Benita married William C. “Bill” Harn, Jr. on December 8, 1978 in San Diego, CA.
Benita is survived by her husband, Bill of Decatur; daughters: Sonya A. Flores of Decatur, Casey M. (David) Dance of Moweaqua, Stephanie L. Barnette of Decatur, Leslie A. (Troy) Kinney of Decatur, and Laura Koszesza of NC; grandchildren: Blade, Corey, Brianna, Carlos, Sierra, Trevor, and Grace; two great grandchildren; siblings: Jesusita Reyes, Jose Crowder and Jesus Crowder of WA; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Benita was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Julio Crowder, Guillermo Crowder, Tomas Crowder, Leonel Crowder, and Martin Crowder; sisters: Isabel Pena and Nina Morales.
In keeping with Benita’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. A memorial service is being planned.
