I knew Betty from church. We served on some committees together; we worked on some projects together; we served some meals together. It was generally known at church that if you needed help with any church activity, you should call Betty. She rarely said "no." She had a quiet, loving way about her. Christ-like. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Debbie, Linda and Jerry,
my Mom saw Betty's obituary in the paper and called me. I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I am thinking about how much fun we all had as kids. Both of your parents were so good to me. I remember playing in the neighborhood, swimming at the pool, the summer I was able to go to Wisconsin to your grandparents Zech's farm. I remember us going to the soda fountain, Debbie, and you let me have some of your butterscotch shake. I ordered chocolate, of course, but that butterscotch.....yum! going to Devil's Lake, the Wisconsin Dells, the House on the Rock, it was a fun trip in the RV, for sure. Your Dad was so brave, letting us drive it in the field!:-) when I had to take sewing in Home Economics class in middle school, I was not very good at it, to say the least. your Mom helped me so much, and was so patient. She was such a wonderful lady. My Mom always enjoyed running into her at different places around town and visiting, and they had a really nice visit at a Senior-rama a couple of years ago. We both wanted to tell you all that we are sorry for your loss and we thank you for the good times and the wonderful memories. God bless you all! Barb and Kim Brown
I was sorry to learn of Betty's death. Diane and our daughter, Jill, were very good school friends. After Diane's tragic death we kept in touch with Betty for a number of years. Our thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace are with Betty's entire family.
Betty was my girl friend at the YMCA! We would talk about her family, caring for her husband in his final years, her childhood in Wi., and the books she was reading. Betty was such a dear heart. We enjoyed each others company. My condolences to her family.

Betty has been a wonderful friend to many, especially my mother, Laurel Lorey. I got to know Betty when I attended church with my mother and enjoyed many conversations with Betty and her lovely group of dear friends. She always had a smile on her face and enriched so many lives, I know. Scrabble group was a favorite! My mother and so many others have lost a kind and loving friend, but memories will last forever. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Regards, Nancy Lorey
I’m sure gonna miss my Grandma Betty. She was an outstanding woman who cared for all. She was a very smart lady. Loved to play board games and always won at scrabble. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening. I’m sure going to miss her stopping at my work for lunch as a surprise😢. I love you More Grandma😘❤️
I sincerely Loved Betty. It was easy to love her; she was Christ like; loving, caring, giving, and humble. She was loyal to her church, the First Congregational Church and had a strong faith. I was blessed to be with her for a couple of hours; usually, 3 days a week, for many years. The YMCA group enjoyed visiting after their workout, sitting and visiting together three days at the YMCA. After that, Betty, Arlene and I and often other YMCA friends would go out for lunch together. It breaks my heart to miss seeing Betty. I have been blessed to have known and loved Betty.
I want to offer my sincere sympathy and condolences to Betty’s family. I am sure she is in heaven; without earth’s worries and suffering; Flying with the Angels.
Betty and I shared many memories together for several years and I will never forget her.
She was a loyal friend who loved her family and her Lord with all her heart. She was devoted to her church. Heaven has gained an angel, and our “Y Group” will always feel
the void. God Bless you Betty. May you Rest In Peace.
