Betty June Foster's Obituary
Betty June Foster, 92, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at McKinley Court Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family.
Betty was born July 14, 1923 in Decatur, to Roscoe and Josephine (Remley) Brannon. She married Leslie Foster in 1973.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mellody (James) Ireland of Decatur, Kathy Allen of Mt. Zion, Georgia (Steven) Sefton of Dalton City; thirteen grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; her son-in-law, Randy Allen; one granddaughter, Shawna; one great-granddaughter Rosemary; one brother and one sister.
The family would like to thank McKinley Court Rehabilitation Center for providing special nurses and certified nursing assistants for the care of their mother.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Betty June Foster will be 12 noon Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday, before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association.
