Betty Neeley Grubbs' Obituary
Decatur-Betty Neeley Grubbs, 82, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan.
Betty was born September 7, 1932 in Santa Anna, California, the daughter of Wilmer and Zelda (Haws) Neeley.  She retired from the Decatur Club.  Betty loved to crochet dresses for dolls and go to rummage sales.
Betty leaves behind her brothers Jerry Neeley and wife Peggy of Decatur and Jack Neeley and wife Connie of New River, Arizona, sister-in-law Edna Neeley of Decatur and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was reunited in Heaven with her parents, sister Ada Hunt, brothers Bob Neeley and twin Bill Neeley, niece Linda Dobbs Gant, nephew Robert Mark Neeley, great-nieces Shelli Gant Wendell, Dawn Rae Neeley, and Jessica Cook, great-nephew Brian Michael Gordon, and great-great-niece Madison Kay McCoy.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Eastview Terrace and Harbor Light Hospice for their loving care of Betty.
Services to celebrate Betty’s life will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
