Betty Jean Habeck's Obituary
Betty Jean Habeck, aged 78, passed away December 5, 2021 at Hickory Point Christian Village in Forsyth, Illinois.
Betty was born to Beverly and Mabel Clardy on August 12, 1943 in Macon, Missouri. She married her husband, Ronald Duaine Habeck in Marysville, Kansas in 1963. Betty loved Jesus. She attended, worked and volunteered for a variety of churches. She was always involved in ministry and outreach programs, especially for kids. She worked as a Sunday school teacher, worked the food pantry and ran a thrift store that benefitted the women’s center. Over summers, she started bible clubs for kids.
Betty loved her family. She and her husband, Ron, loved to go bowling together. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful kind hearted woman, who will be greatly missed.
Betty is survived by her husband, Ronald Duaine Habeck Sr.; children, Ronald (Jaynanne) Duaine Calaway-Habeck Jr., Rhonda Sue Deleuran, Sandy (Bill) Kay Torres; siblings, Bob (Ada) Clardy, Mary (Richard) Dailey; grandchildren, Tye (Lindsay) Deleuran, Rebekah Calaway-Habeck, Jaryn Calaway-Habeck; great grandchildren, Ashlynn Deleuran, Decker Deleuran, and many extended family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Beverly and Mabel Clardy; siblings, James Clardy, Ted Clardy, and Alice (Don) Sipe.
