Betty Ann Johnson's Obituary
Betty Ann Johnson, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away May 25, 2023 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born April 3, 1946 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Jacob and Edith (Thompson) Reed. She had married, Frank Maltby followed by David Johnson who both had preceded her in death. Her significant other Ed White had also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Tonda Gurley (Troy Ring) of Anabell, MO, Goldie Edwards (Travis) of Decatur, IL, David Johnson II (Cynthia Howard) of Decatur, IL; siblings, Patty Reed of Decatur, IL, Fred Reed of Decatur, IL; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great – great grandchildren.
She was futher preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Tonya Skowronski and Sonya Maltby; and eleven siblings.
Betty had tremendously loved her family and will be remembered for her delicious fried chicken.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery.
