Decatur-Betty F. March, 86, of Decatur, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Monday, August 09, 2010 in her home.
Memorial services to celebrate Betty's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Central Christian Church, 650 W. William St. Decatur, with Pastor Gretchen Barron officiating. Private interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Betty was born September 8, 1923 in Decatur, the daughter of James Greene and Mina Yoder. She graduated from Decatur High School. She was previously employed in the transportation department of A.E. Staley Manufacturing Company retiring with over twenty years of service. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Kiwanianne Club, DMH Auxiliary, and the Staley Women's Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, cooking, and watching HGTV and the Food Network. She married Dean Darwin March January 4, 1948. He preceded her in death December 6, 1989.
She leaves behind her daughters; Jill Johnson and husband Neal and Debby Gregurich and husband Larry all of Decatur, grandchildren; Dustin Johnson of Nashville, TN, Leslie Johnson of Decatur, Dean Gregurich and wife Meghan of Decatur, George Gregurich of Decatur, and Sara March of Rockford, great-grandson Monroe Gregurich of Decatur, and several brothers and sisters-in-law and their families.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband, and son Steve.
