Betty....you were an angel on Earth. We had so many wonderful times and I will miss your smiling face and warm hug. I hope to be half the lady you were. Love you and miss you....Vicki
Hi Karla, Sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. She was a fine person and in spite of any differences she I had there was more affection. On the lighter side I have never known anyone with a bigger collection of chip dip recipes. She could whip up one at the drop of a hat! Her love for you, Greg and your Dad were ever present and her love of the farm was nearly as strong. I hope you can take some condolence in her long life and legacy. Best regards, Gail
Betty was such a nice lady and good neighbor. So nice to visit her and take her vegetables and her favorite sweet potatoes.
Karla, it was my joy to meet your mother when she visited TN many years ago. I’m grateful you were able to travel to IL often to be with her. Prayers for you & the family as you grieve her passing but celebrate the many years of her life. Love you❣️️🙏
I extend my deepest sympathy to Betty's dear family. I met Betty, Bill, Carl and Frieda in the spring of 1957 when I was age 16 (almost 17) and worked that summer as a waitress for dear friends of my parents who opened and operated the Mayview Farm restaurant in Boody. My parents and I lived "up the road" at the edge of Decatur and I drove route 48 to Boody to go to work. My job there ended that fall to start my senior year in high school. Ours- the first graduating class of MacArthur H.S. in June 1958. Now at age 83, my memories of my first job are still very special. Betty and your entire family were always very kind to me and a blessing. God bless and comfort you. Judy Frazelle Gandy
Karla, I am so sorry for your loss, but thankful you mom is at peace with the Lord. May our Lord Jesus comfort you and all the family and give you peace and wonderful memories. Much love,
Lora
