I will be thinking of you on June 1st. When I heard of your mom's passing, so many wonderful memories of Betty and the Zeaman family came flooding back. So grateful for the memories. So grateful to grow up next door to Betty and the Zeaman clan. Best wishes to all.

I met Betty years ago in a park district tap dancing class. She was always upbeat and kind, always had a smile, and was ever ready to see the good in all things.
I am certain her family will miss her sweet disposition. The world would be a better place with more people like her.

Betty Traver Zeaman was one of my very close friends for over 45 years. We enjoyed each others company and sharing the events of our lives. After Betty moved to Shelbyville assisted living to be near her son Andy, I would make trips to visit with her there every 3 or 4 weeks as I was determined not to lose contact with this special person. She was a true friend—caring, witty, positive, classy, intelligent to the end! She loved her family and enjoyed telling me about them and all the family reunions. Betty was also a great contributor to her Decatur community and supporter of the arts. She loved music and we attended many concerts together, especially Juvae Jazz jazz concerts. The Decatur community has lost a beautiful soul, but heaven has gained another angel!
