Beulah A. Dotson's Obituary
Beulah A. Dotson, 94, of Decatur, formerly of Anderson, IN, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, in Decatur.
Beulah was born August 24, 1917 in Vandalia the daughter of Roy E. and Zelphia (Cox) Selby. She worked as a cook at Chesterfield and Highland High Schools. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church, Eastern Star, Anderson Youth Ballet Theatre and BCNU in Anderson, IN. Beulah married Elmo L. Dotson in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Surviving are her son, Terry (Julia) Dotson of Anderson, IN; daughters: Judy (Lee) Turnbow of Decatur, Janet Bugert of Indianapolis, IN, and June (Rick) Greenawalt of Santa Margarita, CA; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Per her wishes she will be cremated at the Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory with a memorial service and burial at a later date in Anderson, IN.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters: one infant and Bernice Lorene Studebaker; brothers: Charlie Selby, Roy Selby, Joe Selby, Don Selby and Fred Selby.
